About

Kim Delage Bélanger
I have been a social worker since 2016 and am a member in good standing of the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec (license number: DELK1602090TS). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work as well as a major in Psychology. I am also an approved service provider for the CNESST and IVAC.

From the early years of my schooling, I knew that I wanted to work in the field of mental health, supporting individuals experiencing psychological distress as they navigate life’s challenges. This commitment has continued to grow over time and has guided my professional path and clinical practice.

My diverse professional experience, combined with ongoing professional development, has led me to work primarily with adolescents and adults. I support individuals facing a wide range of concerns, including mental health difficulties, relational and family challenges, grief, crisis situations, suicidal ideation, self-harm ideation, intimate partner violence, and situations related to youth protection services.

My approach is collaborative and client-centered, recognizing you as the expert in your own life. Using a variety of clinical approaches and evidence-informed tools tailored to your needs, I support you in clarifying your goals, regaining a sense of control, and moving toward greater balance and well-being. Sessions take place in a safe, open, and non-judgmental environment.

I offer individual psychosocial support to individuals aged 14 and older who reside in Québec. I primarily use a short-term approach aimed at achieving meaningful and timely results, while remaining available for medium- or long-term follow-up as needed. Services are offered in both French and English; however, my first language is French.

Sessions are conducted primarily in person. Virtual sessions may be considered, depending on needs, following a discussion regarding the applicable modalities.
