Storage and Disclosure of Personal Data
The current website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. All Wix sites are hosted on multiple data servers and cloud providers to keep them running under any circumstance. Wix operates four data centers around the world that are connected to AWS and Google Cloud. In case of a regional outage or a provider issue, the remaining data centers can handle all of Wix’s traffic. Wix Points of Presence (PoPs) speed up data flow and keep a cached copy of your site for better performance. Google Cloud, AWS, and Fastly Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) cache your site to improve loading speed and keep your site available at all times.
Information security and the protection of users' data is of the highest priority at Wix. The Wix Security team uses an Information Security Program based on international best practices, and it’s constantly evolving to address emerging threats. We also implement data encryption using HTTPS, TLS 1.2 and above, and SSL.
Wix software engineers develop the platform with a security by design approach, which means they keep security and privacy top of mind throughout all design phases. Wix seeks to add as many default and out-of-the-box security boundaries to its systems as possible, in order to reduce the probability of vulnerabilities and to support secure development.
All Wix sites come with an SSL certificate. You can read more about SSL and HTTPS here. For more information on Wix security, click here. Please note that two-factor authentication is activated.
The personal information collected by the site is not transmitted to any third party and is only accessible and processed by the social worker.
Retention Period for Personal Data
The social worker does not retain user data beyond what is necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
